Why followers matter on Twitch
On Twitch, the follower count appears on your channel and in your About section. New viewers who discover you in a category look at it to judge whether you are an established streamer or someone just starting. Followers also get notified when you go live, so a larger base gives every stream a better start.
The Twitch Affiliate programme asks for at least 50 followers, along with 500 total minutes broadcast, 7 unique broadcast days and an average of 3 concurrent viewers over the last 30 days.
Choosing a pack
- 100 to 250: to pass the Affiliate follower threshold with a margin.
- 1,000: the most popular pack, a credible base for streamers who go live every week.
- 2,500 to 5,000: for channels aiming at Partner-level visibility or sponsorships.
Speed of completion
Choose Fast (about 1 day), Normal (about 3 days), Gradual (about 10 days) or a Custom pace. Gradual is recommended for larger packs. Processing starts shortly after your Stripe payment is confirmed.
What we need
Your Twitch username or channel link (twitch.tv/yourname). We never ask for your password or for a connection to your Twitch account.
What followers cannot do
Followers do not count as concurrent viewers, and the Affiliate requirement of 3 average viewers still has to be met by people watching your streams. If you need a livelier chat window, see Twitch viewers. This is a new service in our catalogue, covered by our 90-day refill guarantee if Twitch removes inactive accounts.
Before you order
Make your channel ready for visitors: a profile picture, a banner, panels explaining your schedule and what you stream, and a few past broadcasts or highlights. A clear streaming schedule is the best way to turn new followers into returning viewers. Stream regularly during and after the order so the numbers and your activity tell the same story.
